Every workday, the GPs have consultation hours in the morning and in the afternoon. If you wish to come to these hours, you must always first make an appointment with the assistant:
If you call early in the morning, you can usually come to the consultation hour on the same day.
If your own GP is absent or if the consultation hours are fully booked, you can visit one of the other GPs that are in.
If you have seen a GP for the same medical issue before, we recommend you to make an appointment with this same GP.
If you have multiple medical issues or questions, please say so when you make your appointment. The assistant will then dedicate extra time for you.
If you want to ask the doctor something about a small medical issue or test result, you can inform the assistant. She can then tell the doctor to call you back during the telephonic consult from 12.00-13.30h. If you call early, you will be called back the same day.
If you need a doctor but are unable to come to the consultation hour yourself, you can arrange with the assistant that the doctor visits you at home. If you arrange a home visit before 10.00h, the doctor will visit you, if needed, on the same day. The assistant will ask you about the reason of the visit. The home visit is not intended for people who have no time or transport for the normal consultation hour.
We aim to keep in touch with you when you have been admitted into hospital. Please do not hesitate to phone the assistant yourself to arrange a hospital visit, during or after your stay in the hospital.
